TDK 2.5TB hard drive coming in 2010

Imagine how much useless junk you can store in 2.5terabyte? Almost infinite. According to reports, TDK is planning to launch a 2.5TB hard drive in 2010. The 3.5″ drive is actually based on 640GB-per-platter technology, meaning it would take four-platters to hold 2.5TB of data.
What’s more, in future we might well see a five-platter drive with a whopping 3.2TB storage capacity!
No word on pricing of 2.5TB hard drive, but you can expect it to go official by February next year.
