Super Talent UltraDrive ME and LE SSDs with improved read/write speeds
Super Talent today announced upgraded version of its UltraDrive solid state drives, which now features Firmware version 1370 enabling improved performance when used with upcoming Microsoft Windows 7. The firmware upgrade tool is available at Super Talent’s website, allowing existing owners to improve the performance of their UltraDrive SSDs. You run XP / Vista so why should you upgrade? With the new firmware the SSDs achieves improved maximum sequential read speed of 260GB/sec.
On the writing side, the UltraDrive ME offers 200GB/sec sequential write performance and the UltraDrive LE provides 210GB/sec.
The UltraDrive LE SSD is available in capacities of 32GB – 128GB, and the UltraDrive ME comes in 32GB – 256GB storage capacity.
