Seagate Momentus 7mm-thin notebook hard drive coming soon

In the past one year notebooks have become thin by more than half. And in future they’re expected to go more thinner. Because of this reason and well understood business logic Seagate is working on a new Momentus hard drive series, which measures only 7mm. To give you perspective, standard hard drives measure around 9.5mm, so over here Seagate will be reducing the thickness by 25%!
Targeted for modern ultra-thin notebooks, the Momentus drive will be based on 2.5″ form factor and will have a SATA interface.
Rotational speed will be 5400 RPM.
No word on capacity.
Also no word on pricing and availability.
