Seagate GoFlex Thunderbolt Adapter and GoFlex Desk Thunderbolt Adapter Launched
Seagate has announced two new important accessories for its GoFlex family of storage solutions — the Seagate GoFlex Thunderbolt Adapter and GoFlex Desk Thunderbolt Adapter. As one can make out, both are based on Thunderbolt technology and convert a standard GoFlex solution into a Thunderbolt-enabled storage solution.
The GoFlex Desk Thunderbolt adapter is priced at $190 and support 3.5″ GoFlex Desk drives and come equipped with two Thunderbolt ports.
On the other hand the GoFlex Thunderbolt adapter is priced at $100 and support 2.5″ drives. It offers only a single Thunderbolt port.
The GoFlex Thunderbolt Adapter will be available during the first quarter of this year and the GoFlex Desk Thunderbolt Adapter is expected to be available before the second half of this calendar year.
