OCZ Vertex EX 2.5” 120GB SSD Announced
The Vertex Series is OCZ’s latest solid state disk family designed for enterprise users. According to OCZ, the Vertex EX 2.5” SSD is designed to meet the stringent demands of server environments and enterprise applications.
Building on the advantages of SLC flash-based storage, the OCZ Vertex Series EX is the result of the latest breakthroughs in SSD technology, offering speeds up to a 260MB/s read and 210MB/s write, while delivering lowered power consumption, increased responsiveness and data access, and superior durability compared to conventional hard drives.
The disk is now available in 60GB and 120GB storage capacities.
