OCZ Agility 3 and Solid 3 solid state drives launched
OCZ today released two more solid state drives — the Agility 3 and Solid 3. Both are based on the SandForce SF-2200 SSD processor and support the latest SATA 3 interface (6Gbps).
The Solid 3 is based on MLC NAND flash and comes in 60GB ($130) and 120GB ($230) storage capacities. It has a max read speed of up to 500MB/s and max write speed of up to 450MB/s. Furthermore, it supports random write 4KB (aligned) at 20,000 IOPS.
Based on same MLC NAND flash, the Agility 3 comes in 60GB ($135), 120GB ($240), and 240GB ($480) capacities. It feature read speed of 525MB/s and write speed of 475MB/s, with 4KB random write at 50,000 IOPS.
Both of them will all be available for purchase later this week.
