Word on internet has it MSI is all set to launch its own solid state drive. Once the firm goes official on this one, it will have a big portfolio of computer related products including motherboards, chipsets, graphics cards, laptops, all-in-one PCs, netbooks, and SSDs.
Though there’s hardly any information, we know that the MSI’s SSD will be based on SandForce SF-2000 processor.
If you ask us then MSI jumping the gun in already crowded SSD space is a good news for consumers. More competition means consumers get a lot of options and lower pricing.
