In USB 3.0 mode the drive offers 70MB/s read speed and 30MB/s write speed. Kingston DataTraveler Elite 3.0 is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 and support 30MB/s read and 25MB/s write speed in USB 2.0 mode.
According to Kingston, the DataTraveler Elite 3.0 is approximately two times faster than a standard USB 2.0 Flash drive.
