IOData launches password-protected drive
IOData Japan has rolled out a new USB thumb drive in the form of TB-PW. What is interesting about this drive is that it offers nice security features including password protection function and 128-bit AES encryption.
The USB 2.0 drive asks for password as soon as you insert it into a computer. So in case you lose the drive, you can rest assured that unauthorized people will not be able to view your confidential data.
And thanks to 128-bit encryption your data remains completely safe. It also offer QuickSecureAES feature which lets you delete files without leaving your traces.
The IOData TB-PW comes in 4GB and 8GB storage capacities and will be available from January 2012 in Japan.
