G.Skill intros 128GB solid state disk
G.Skill Taiwan recently came out with a new solid state disk boasting “economical ultra-performance.” The affordable ultra-performance SATA II 2.5″ Solid State Drive (SSD) is based on NAND MLC flash storage medium, and comes with 64GB and 128GB storage capacity. The disk is designed for general consumers who are looking for a cost effective, ultra reliable and power-efficient SSD storage solution.
Covered with a strong metal alloy housing, G.SKILL SSD protect valuable data from any mishaps that should happen during travel, and the highly power efficient nature means a boost to battery life allowing longer on the go. The disk provides 155MB/sec read and 90MB/sec write speed, and less than 0.2ms access time.
