Buffalo has silently announced a new family of solid state drives. The Buffalo SHD-NSU2 SSD is based on 2.5-inch form factor, and is targeted towards notebook users. The SHD-NSU2 SSD is built with multi-level cell NAND Flash memory chips and come in up to 256GB storage capacity.
The drive boast of read speeds of 175MB/s and SATA II interface.
The drive further supports Windows 7 TRIM command, and Acronis TrueImage HD software.
The Buffalo SHD-NSU2 SSD is priced between $160 and $850 and will be available in Japanese market from April.
