Buffalo HDS-CXU2 external hard drive with 256-bit AES encryption

Buffalo is famous for its business class USB flash drives. Most of them come with enterprise grade encryption feature, making them pretty useful for business professionals. Catering to the same segment, Buffalo recently announced a new external hard drive in the form of HDS-CXU2. Interesting thing about this drive is that it comes with hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption.
The drive also comes bundled with SecureLock Manager software that lets system administrator adjust security level.
Another interesting feature is its capacity — the drive comes in mammoth 1TB and 2TB storage capacities.
The 1TB version cost $200, while the 3TB model cost around $275. It is powered by USB 2.0 technology and is available in Japanese market.
