Matrox M-Series graphics cards support up to four monitors

matrox_m-series.jpg Matrox Graphics today introduced a new graphics card series -- the M-Series. The multi-monitor cards offer 512MB of memory, native PCIe x16 performance, and support up to four monitors. The M series has been specifically designed for display-hungry professionals like financial analysts, media professionals, hard core geeks etc who's work require them to work on more than one monitor simultaneously. The card support up to four widescreen monitors (DVI or analog) in portrait and landscape simultaneously as one large desktop or with independent resolutions.

It lets you drive up to two monitors per card at maximum resolutions of 2560 x 1600 (M9125 - digital) or 2048 x 1536 (M9120 - analog) per display.

The M-Series includes following models:

M9120 PCIe x16 ($259)
M9125 PCIe x16 ($399)
M9120 Plus LP PCIe x16 ($329)
M9120 Plus LP PCIe x1 ($329)
M9140 LP PCIe x16 ($599)

The M-Series cards will be available from Q3 2008.
