Sure we've heard about the Radeon HD 5870 X2 and Radeon HD 5850 X2 (pictured above) GPUs, but it is the first time they've been caught in the wild. Nothing official out here but unofficial word had it that the 5870 X2 is an extremely powerful GPU and measures longer than 11" HD 5870 at around 12″-12.5 inches.

The 5850×2 has dual circular fans over the chips but no shroud, indicating that it would be a particular manufacturer’s unique cooling option.

The x2 versions of the card include both dual DVI, and a mini display port in between.
