Ageia PhysX 100M - World's First PhysX Processor for Notebooks

In the near future hard core gamers will have a new option to consider when they buy a new powerful gaming rig. Unlike their first PhysX board (which was designed for desktops) the latest card is made for use in laptops. AGEIA claims that the PhysX 100M offers "an unmatched combination of power, efficiency and design flexibility" so that you can experience "a stunning new level of excitement" on-the-go. I think most gamers are well-off with today's mean machines (of course with powerful Nvidia or ATI graphics) so actually there's no need for an additional card unless you want the extra dimension of real-time physics and destructible environments. The 10W card comes with an active power management that throttles down the clock in the case of high heat and reduces the clock when not active.

Ageia explained their latest Physics card in superlative terms but failed to provide basic specifications. The PhysX 100M card is now available, but the gaming notebooks with in-built card will take sometime to hit the market.
