Guess how much does the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX480 and GTX470 video cards cost? Well if you’re a heart patient then you’re not advised to read any further. Hold your breathe: the flagship GTX480 is priced at $699.99 while its younger sibling GTX470 cost $499.99! Yes, insane pricing.
And if the review is anything to go by then there is absolutely no point in paying absurd amount for NVIDIA’s first DirectX 11 cards.
In fact you’ll be better off with ATI Radeon HD 5970 (compete directly with GTX480 and is way more power and cheaper) and HD 5870 (compete again GTX470 and provides comparable performance for $100 less).
