NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 “Kepler” graphics card launched
NVIDIA has released a new graphics card in the form of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680. What is interesting about this GPU is that it is the first video card based on the next generation NVIDIA Kepler architecture. Designed for gaming grade desktops, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 GPU delivers a quiet, smooth, extremely fast experience. It is based on 28nm process technology and boast of new technologies including a new streaming multiprocessor block, known as SMX; special board components; NVIDIA GPU Boost technology; support for up to four separate displays; and PCI-E 3.0.
Specification include 1536 CUDA cores, 1006MHz core clock which be boosted to 1058MHz, 6008Gbps memory speed, 2GB GDDR5 memory, and 256-bit interface. I/O options include Dual Link DVI-I, Dual Link DVI-D, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 GPU is available now for $499.
