AMD Radeon HD 7970 and HD 7950 GPUs Detailed

We know AMD is planning to updated its Radeon HD family with new 7-Series “Tahiti” graphics processing units. But today we learned couple of interesting things about the upcoming Radeon HD 7-Series. The series is expected to feature PCI-Express Generation 3 system bus for a 32GB/s bandwidth, a next-generation number-crunching architecture (for low-end 7-series GPUs) or CoreNext Architecture (for high-end GPUs), and XDR2 memory interface which has an ultra-high bandwidth and low power consumption.
We have details of two cards, the Radeon HD 7970 and HD 7950.
The Radeon HD 7970 feature 32 Radeon clusters, 2048 Radeon cores, 1000MHz GPU frequency, 8000MHz memory frequency, 256-bit memory interface, 2GB XDR2 memory, 128 texture units, and 64 ROPs.
On the other hand the Radeon HD 7950 feature 30 Radeon clusters, 1920 Radeon cores, 900MHz GPU frequency, 7200MHz memory frequency, 256-bit memory interface, 2GB XDR2 memory, 120 texture units, and 64 ROPs.
