AMD Radeon HD 6900 graphics card officially delayed till December
Earlier in this week we’d told you about the manufacturing problems with AMD Radeon HD 6970 graphics card. Today AMD officially acknowledged the problem and said the Radeon HD 6900 series will be launched on December 13, 2010. It’s a three weeks delay from original launch date of November 22.
So what’s the official reason for the delay? AMD said that the Radeon HD 5800 series is going strong and the Radeon HD 5970 is still maintaining performance leadership, indirectly blaming congestion in inventories for the delay.
Now wait till December 13 to see the Radeon HD 6900 series.
