AMD Radeon HD 4870 X2 Coming in August
Advanced Micro Devices is really pushing hard when it comes to graphics processing units. Reportedly, the firm is planning to update its recently launched ATI Radeon HD 4870 GPU with a dual core version — the Radeon HD 4870 X2. The dual core version will make already powerful HD 4870 even more powerful. It is expected to ship with 2GB GDDR5 memory. Graphics cards based on HD 4870 X2 will be available from August for about $500.
