AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 Graphics Card Coming Next Month
Remember we’d told you about upcoming ATI Radeon HD 5870 GPU that supposedly features 6 DisplayPorts? Well, it is coming next month! Powered by AMD’s very own ATI Eyefinity Technology, the card would allow users to use up to 6 LCD monitors. Currently cards powered by Eyefinity technology support up to 3 displays, but the HD 5870 features an improved version called Eyefinity 6, providing support for up to 6 displays.
As for other specification, the card will feature 1,600 stream processors, and will have GPU core and memory clocked at 850MHz and 4,800MHz, respectively.
The ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition will be unveiled on March 11, just after the end of CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany.
