AMD ATI Radeon HD 5700 series graphics cards launched. Consist of 5770 and 5750 GPUs

Advanced Micro Devices today announced a new DirectX 11 supporting graphics card series, the ATI Radeon HD 5700. Unlike HD 5800 series which was targeted at extreme users, the HD 5700 series is designed for performance users who want a value-for-money GPU. The ATI Radeon HD 5700 series consist of two graphics processing units: the Radeon HD 5770 and the Radeon HD 5750.
The 40nm HD 5700 series features 10 SIMDs, 800 stream processors, 40 texture units, and 128-bit memory interface.
The HD 5770 provides 850MHz core speed, 1200MHz memory speed, and 1GB GDDR5 memory. On the other hand the HD 5750 features 700MHz core speed, 1150MHz memory speed, and 1GB / 512MB GDDR5 memory.
What’s more, both of them supports many of AMD’s proprietary technologies such as CrossFireX and Eyefinity.
The series also provides support for DisplayPort, HDMI interfaces, and DVI.
