AMD ATI FirePro 2450 graphics accelerator launched
Advanced Micro Devices today announced a new FirePro graphics accelerator that can power up to four high resolution monitors consuming minimal power. The ATI FirePro 2450 is a low profile quad display graphics accelerator, delivering exceptional power efficiency and operating at less than 18 watts. It features on-board 512MB memory and can be installed on any computer, notebook or workstation PC.
In addition, the ATI FirePro 2450 supports PCI Express 2.0 and offers two VHDCI connectors with breakout cables for quad DVI-I or VGA support. It allows for flexible output configurations, making the card capable of driving multiple high resolution monitors (1920×1200) for the maximum amount of screen space.
The AMD ATI FirePro 2450 graphics accelerator is now available with for $499.
