Tsukumo launches two gaming rigs in Japan
The "GB30J-Premium" is an Intel machine with quad core 2.86GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 processor running under its hood. It comes with Intel P45 Express + ICH10R chipset, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 280 GTX graphics card with 1GB video memory, 300GB 10,000rpm hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, and Vista Home Premium.
On the other hand, the "GB30A-Premium" is an AMD system running quad core Phenom X4 9750 (2.40GHz) processor. It provides 4GB memory, AMD 780G + SB700 chipset, ATI Radeon HD 4870 video card (512MB), 300GB 10,000rpm HDD, dual layer DVD burner, and Vista Home Premium.
Both of them looks powerful, no? I think these systems would have been more attractive if the company had chosen Blu-ray and faster DDR3 memory instead of DVD burner and traditional DDR2 memory respectively.
Both are now available in the Japanese market with the Intel model costing $2,786 while the AMD version costing $1,857.
