• Sotec adds desktop, laptop in e-three series

    Sotec Japan has unveiled a desktop and a laptops in their e-three series, the HC5010 and HA3000. The HC5010 desktop packs an Intel 2.66GHz celeron D 331/ Core 2 Duo processor, 512MB memory, 80GB HDD, 17-inch or 19-inch display, DVD ROM, GeForce 7300 GS card, USB 2.0×6, and Gigabit Ethernet. Running on Vista Home Edition, it’ll cost you $541 (don’t forget to add $209 for 17-inch and $250 for 19-inch display).


    The HA3000 notebook features a 15.4-inch WXGA display (1,280×800 resolution), 1.46GHz Celeron M 410 (or Core 2 Duo), 512MB RAM (max 2GB), 60GB HDD, DVD ROM, USB 2.0×4, ExpressCard/54 slot ×1, and Ethernet. Pre-loaded with Vists Home, it sells for $806.
