Sony unleashed its 1st hybrid notebook Vaio Duo 11, Tap 20 Windows 8 AiO
Past few weeks every other PC manufacturer is constantly unveiling their Windows 8 devices, and to add to it comes Sony with its first hybrid Ultrabook and tabletop PC — the VAIO Tap 20 PC and the VAIO Duo 11 Ultrabook. The 11.6-inch VAIO Duo 11 comes with a slider mechanism, 1080p touchscreen display with support for pen input, 4GB of memory, a 128GB solid state disk, and an Intel Ivy Bridge processor with a choice of i3 through i7 chips. It also includes USB 3.0, VGA, HDMI and an SD card reader.
Now coming to VAIO Tap 20, well this is surely one of the most exciting Windows 8 product we have seen so far. It has 20-inch touch screen,1600 x 900 pixel display, up to 8GB of RAM, and an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU. You can lay this flat on a table, and the best part is that it isn’t bounded by wires since it comes with a built-in battery.
As far as the pricing and availability is concerned, the VAIO Tap 20 and VAIO Duo 11 will be available at the end of October for $879.99 and $1099.99, respectively.
