PC-Zeus is selling diamond, gold desktops for insane amount
Ever heard a PC selling for about $746,418? Apparently, a Japanese firm — PC-Zeus — is offering a diamond encrusted desktop for the mentioned amount. Actually this is just a marketing gimmick for desperately needed publicity. The Jupiter is a normal high-end desktop which could probably retail for $800 minus diamonds. Wondering what the specs are like? Well, for such an insane amount you get an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0GHz) processor, 24-inch LCD monitor, 2GB DDR2 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS graphics card (256MB), 100GB 7200rpm hard drive, Blu-ray and Vista Ultimate.
Feeling a bit short on cash? Don’t worry as the company is also selling a cheap version (gold plated) for only $559,863.
