NEC has announced a new budget desktop computer, the L1030. According to the company it's designed for office users and provides "solid performance with reasonable acquisition cost for the improvement of your office operation efficiency and protecting your investment." It is based on SiS 671FX chipset and provides Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 512MB RAM, 160GB hard drive, SiS Mirage 3 Graphics Accelerator with 256MB memory, DVD super multi drive and Vista.
