Lenovo Announces Q and H Series Desktops and Y series Laptops

Lenovo has introduced the computers targeted for home users, which provides multimedia functions, style, and security to the users. Based on Intel Core 2 Duo processors, the Q series offers RecordNow software to burn data, music and video files easily into CD, VD and data CDs as well as create DVDs even while using other functions, 19” display and A Jog Dial which allows users to switch from viewing photographs to watching movies at the turn of the dial. The H series includes One Key Recovery that allows users to easily recover data in the event of crash. The Y300 laptop makes use of Face recognition technology that takes a digital snapshot, extracts key features of the user’s face, and creates a digital map which is then used to log the user onto the system. It has a 13″ display. The price of Q and H series start at about $1,026 and $705. No word on pricing and availability of laptops.
