HP Compaq Presario CQ61z notebook, 4010f desktop and Compaq 500B desktop introduced
HP is on a roll today. In addition of announcing new TouchSmart 300, 600, and 9100 all-in-ones; and LD4200tm 42" HD digital signage display the firm introduced three budget computing machines under its Compaq brand for people tight on budget. The HP Compaq Presario CQ61z notebook is a successor to Compaq Presario CQ60Z laptop. The 15.6" notebook features a piano black imprint finish with a silver panel that covers the palmrest and touchpad for a clean contrast. It features a 15.6-inch diagonal high-definition display with 16:9 ratio and six-cell lithium-ion battery. The CQ61z starts at $399.
The Compaq Presario 4010f desktop PC is a budget desktop starting at $309. It is equipped with an AMD Sempron processor, NVIDIA GeForce integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
The Compaq 500B Series desktop PCs are designed for budget-conscious small businesses. The Compaq 500B and 505B desktop PCs are available with Intel or AMD processors respectively, and provides configurable hard drives and memory and Windows 7. The Compaq 500B and 505B desktop PCs start at $359 and $409, respectively.
All of them will be available from 22 October.
