Gateway updates FX, GT Series desktops
Gateway today once again updated its FX and GT series with couple of new desktop computers featuring factory overclocked processors and graphics for maximum performance. The FX series now include FX7026, which could be a good buy for people looking for some fast performance. The $1,100 machine provides Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9300, over-clocked NVIDIA 8800GT graphics, up to 8GB of memory and 640GB hard disk drive. In addition, it features dual layer DVD burner, 15-in-1 media card reader, 8-channel (7.1) high definition audio, keyboard, mouse, 8x usb 2.0 ports, speakers, and Vista.
The new GT Series models include the GT5670, GT5674, GT5676 and GT5678. With prices ranging from $550 to $850, the new models feature AMD Phenom Quad-Core or Triple Core Processors, 4GB of memory, and NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE or ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics.
