Gateway One desktop PC

Looks like the Gateway engineers are seriously inspired by Apple as they're planning to launch an iMac lookalike all-in-one desktop PC for media users. And they haven't done a bad job with the design, have they? Dubbed as One, the computer comes encased in a single metal shell (just 3.6 inches deep) with a 19-inch widescreen LCD.

The One comes in three models (two retail and one online-only). The high-end version ($1800) includes 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, ATI Mobile Radeon HD 2600 graphics card, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, and of course Vista. The another retail edition ($1300) includes 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 320GB storage and unfortunate X3100 graphics. The online model ($1500) is similar to high-end version except it provides 400GB hard drive.

All of them includes wireless keyboard & mouse, vertical slot for optical drive, TV Tuner, Bluetooth, WiFi, three USB ports, one FireWire, 5-in-1 card reader, and optional mounting kit (to hoist the One against a wall). Currently there's no word on availability.
