Gateway LX6200 desktop PC is quite powerful
![]()
Gateway recently came out with a new desktop line up, the LX series. The LX6200 is the first model in Gateway’s LX series, and is designed for media enthusiasts who likes nothing but the most powerful system so that they don’t waste unnecessary computation time. So what’s on the offer? AMD quad-core processor, a whopping 8GB of RAM and dedicated graphics. What’s more, the desktop sports a built-in digital TV Tuner. The only drawback is that it only offers a DVD burner. If it comes with a Blu-ray drive then I am sold. Still, not a bad option considering specification and price-tag.
Gateway LX6200-01:
* AMD Phenom X4 9500 Quad Core Processor (2.2Ghz, 2MB L3 cache and 3600MHz HT3.0 bus)
* ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics (UMA)
* Analog/Digital TV Tuner with 3-D Comb
* 8GB DDR2 memory, dual channel
* 750 GB SATA II (7200 RPM, 16MB cache) hard drive
* 18x DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti Drive featuring Labelflash Technology
* 15-in-1 high-speed digital media card reader with Smart Copy Button
* Windows Vista Premium 64-bit with SP1
