eMachines T5234 and T3626 desktops announced

eMachines has just announced their holiday line up consisting of two value-for-money desktops to "encourage consumers to get in a jolly gift-giving mood." The T5234 and T3626 are AMD machines with NVIDIA chipset. Both of them are standard computers with decent specifications for people on a tight budget. The T5234 ($435) is more powerful of the two with 2.1Ghz Athlon 64 X2 4000+ processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM (expandable to 2GB), 320GB 7200rpm hard drive, GeForce 6150SE integrated graphics with up to 128MB shared video, dual layer DVD burner, 15-in-1 card reader, keyboard, mouse, PCI-E x16 slot for upgrade, 6 USB 2.0 ports, and Vista Home Premium.
The eMachines T3626 ($350) is an extremely basic desktop for young kids / amateurs. It provides 2.2Ghz Sempron 3800+ processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM (expandable to 2GB), 160GB 720rpm hard drive, GeForce 6100 integrated graphics with up to 128MB shared video, and same other above mentioned specs.

office depot is sold out and will not take any further orders...saying the item is 'discontinued'. Strange how everyone else is advertising them and has them in stock or is saying that it is back ordered and will ship within 1 to 2 weeks.
Believe this is the last time I consider Office Depot for my purchases.
