The compact eMachines EL1200 desktop series PCs takes up limited desk space while being light on your wallet. Starting at less than $300, the EL1200 Series is an affordable desktop computer for children and housewives, but if you're a college-goer or office worker who likes to have fun with powerful specs then look elsewhere.

The eMachines EL1200 mini desktop series is now available. The EL1200-05w is available at Wal-Mart for $298, while the EL 1210-01e can be purchased from Best Buy for $349.
