After keeping us waiting for two months Dell today announced the availability of XPS 420 media desktop for high-end users. Just like recently announced Dell's system, the XPS 420 is a complete powerhouse with top of the line specifications. Fat wallet media users and gamers are surely going to have jolly good time with it's Core 2 Extreme processor, 2TB hard drive, extreme graphics card from NVIDIA / ATI, physics processor, and Blu-ray. Another interesting feature of this computer is it's SideShow LCD display. I think it's the first desktop to sport Windows SideShow that allows you to access your songs, photos, video, system settings etc without booting the OS.

You can customize XPS 420 with Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Extreme processor, 20-inch LCD display, up to 4GB RAM, max 2TB (2000GB) hard drive, Blu-ray drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTX (768MB) / 8600GTS (256MB) or ATI HD 2600 XT (256MB) / HD 2400 PRO (128MB) graphics card, AGEIA PhysXTM physics accelerator, 7.1 channel High Definition Audio, 802.11g wireless, Bluetooth, and Vista.

Technically pricing starts at $1,499, but you know nah that above mentioned specs are going to set you for much more bills.
