Dell XPS 410n, E520n desktops and E1505n laptop runs Linux
Finally Dell has officially announced the availability of computers that runs on Linux operating system. All of the three machines – the XPS 410n and Dimension E520n desktops and the Inspiron E1505n notebook (pictured) comes pre-installed with Ubuntu 7.04 Linux. The 15.4-inch Inspiron E1505n laptop features 1.73GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 processor, 80GB hard drive, DVD combo, 512MB RAM, and Intel Media Accelerator 950 graphics. The Dimension E520n desktop comes with 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 chip, 250GB hard drive, DVD combo, 1GB RAM, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 7300LE TurboCache, and 17-inch display.
The XPS 410n computer gets same specs as it's counterpart except 19-inch LCD. The E1505n, XPS 410n, and E520n are now available for $599, $849, and $599 respectively.
