• Dell Launches OptiPlex Series

    Dell has introduced OptiPlex series of computers targeted for SMBs. The OptiPlex 740 is powered by an AMD processor, and OptiPlex 320 with Intel processor. The desktops will offer increased performance, manageability, deployment capabilities, security and energy efficiency. The series offers data encryption, password protection technology and smart-card keyboards and biometric readers. These computers are designed to reduce your electricity consumption. The company said that by applying energy saving technology in all Dell computers sold from the past year could save enough electricity to avoid about 12.5 million tons of CO2 emissions. Dell’s HyperCool™ thermal-management technology helps ensure greater reliability and quieter, cooler operations.


    Dell OptiPlex 740 and 320 costs $1,156 and $1,038 respectively for base configuration.
