    Soon after we had a first glimpse of ASUS’s “next-big-thing“, HotHardware leaked unofficial picture of Eee Desktop. The most interesting thing about this machine is that it looks very much like Nintendo’s Wii. And though its a budget PC, it looks like a sophisticated system, mainly due to its glossy finish and slim form factor. The site said they aren’t cent percent sure of its authenticity, but believes that they are indeed shots of an Asus Eee PC Desktop product that should be arriving to market some time in the next quarter or so.


    As previously reported, the Eee Desktop will probably sport Intel Shelton Diamondville Single or Dual Core processor running at 1.87GHz, basic Intel chipset with GMA, a standard 2.5″ hard drive, and Linux. No word on exact pricing, but you can expect something around $300.
