AMD LIVE! Notebook PC, Home Cinema and Media Server
Advanced Micro Devices has launched many media devices that promises to change your digital lifestyle. The first in the pipeline is the AMD LIVE! notebook PC which allows the access of digital media outside the home. Powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, it includes AMD LIVE! Entertainment Suite that allows you to manage content or schedule TV program recordings remotely. The AMD LIVE! Home Cinema is designed to enhance your entertainment experience. It includes an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor, and consolidates audio visual devices and related remote controls into a simple, all-in-one “living room” solution. It provides high-definition video, and integrated 100 watt per channel surround sound audio in a slim chassis. The next in the line is AMD LIVE! Home Media Server that help consumers with multiple home PCs to easily store, share and automatically protect their digital media. The AMD LIVE! Desktop PC enables you to view web-based videos and digital photos on your TV. Using a set-top-box and few softwares one can stream the web content to their TV. The company also expanded AMD LIVE! Entertainment Suite with the addition of new LIVE! applications like LIVE! PodShow TV, MyTV ToGo, Fusion Tunes, MCE Backup, TV Genie, and Digital Courier.

AMD LIVE! notebooks will be available in Europe later this month from Fujitsu Siemens Computers and MSI. The AMD LIVE! Home Cinema and AMD LIVE! Home Media Server are expected to be available from leading manufacturers worldwide later this year.
