Alienware to launch low-cost AMD based system
Budget gamers rejoice as Alienware is planning to launch a "value-product" with AMD chips in two weeks time. According to Cnet, the desktop will cost around $1,700 and will be based on AMD's Phenom processor. Enthusiasts can also customize it with Asus's high-end motherboard based on the AMD 790FX chipset.
The machine will offer 4GB of memory, a quad-core 9550 (2.2GHz) Phenom X4 processor, and dual ATI HD 3870 X2 graphics card. And if money is not an issue than you'll be able to customize it with quad-core Phenom X4 9850 (2.5GHz) "Black Edition" processor.
