Acer Hornet nettop coming next week. To be based on NVIDIA Ion platform
Rumor mills are running at full speed regarding Acer’s first nettop. The Hornet is Acer’s first nettop and is based on NVIDIA’s Ion platform! Just as Ion ain’t tempting enough, it is priced attractively at only $299. What’s more, it also comes with a motion-sensing gaming controller!
According to Engadget, the Hornet nettop is based on Intel Atom N230 processor and features 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 1080p video playback over HDMI, and Windows Vista.
Digitimes reports that the Hornet will be unveiled in Beijing, China on April 8.
