Acer Aspire Revo Nettop Announced. Features NVIDIA Ion Platform
We knew it was coming, and today was the day when Acer went official with it's first NVIDIA Ion-based Nettop. The Aspire Revo is the company's first Ion-based nettop, capable of delivering high performance. According to Acer, it is capable of handling high definition content including videos and games. What's more, the Aspire Revo can also transmit and stream HD content and can be used as a gaming console. The system is based on Ion platform and is powered by Intel Atom 230 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G graphics processor.
Acer reports that the Aspire Revo supports full HD video with 7.1 audio, and games based on Microsoft DirectX 10 including Sim City 5, Spore and Call of Duty 4.
Other features include 4GB RAM, SATA hard drive or optional solid state disk, wireless, Mini PCI Express slot, and HDMI.
